I also work with templating engines like Handlebars.js, and develop full stack with MVC, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Mongoose.
I am passionate about free and open source software solutions, and have used Linux as my personal Kernel for five years (but on-and-off since 2007). I administer my own servers, domains, firewalls, malware scans, and SSL Certificates.
What started as an extra-credit project for my 2009 Business Intelligence class grew into my own small business!
For the project, I offered to write a SWOT report - which analyzes a business' Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats - for a local goat milk soap business. What began as a kitchen operation has now expanded to four stores, with operations in two states, with orders coming from across the USA!
I've worked with other businesses as well - ranging from jewelry makers to organic tea blenders.
In 2012, I graduated with my BA in History and Intelligence Studies from Notre Dame College's Center for Intelligence Studies.
Making the Dean's list more times than not, I completed courses in Arabic (four semesters), Middle Eastern studies, geo-politics, national security studies, counterterrorism, international law, advanced structured analytics, writing for the Intelligence Community, methods of financial investigation, statistics, sociology, and a long list of history courses.
My Senior Research Project covered "Operation Fortitude South," the deception operation that protected the Normandy invasions. I also completed my first seminar of Norwich University's Master of Arts in Military History program.
